Employer Sponsorship: Skilled Workers  Employing Non-UK Nationals TWO Online Workshop

Designed for anyone recruiting staff from outside the UK, this course is for licensed sponsors or for those looking to become a sponsor. It covers the newly revised Points Based System in detail, including Tier 1 and Tier 5. Time is spent examining the shortage occupation list, intra-company transfers, and the practicalities of sponsorship. We also cover the employment of students who are sponsored by an education provider under the student route of the points based system.

We deliberately keep our workshops small to enable interaction and the opportunity to ask questions and share experience. This helps put the learning points into practice and therefore embed the knowledge. Our learning points for this session are:
Skill levels and the updated Appendix Skilled Occupations
Salary thresholds for sponsorship - for individuals a Skilled Worker visa before 04 April 2024, and new applicants to the route after 04 April.
Tradeable points explained - for new applicants and for transitional arrangements
The new Immigration Salary List (ISL)
English language
Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS)
Certifying maintenance
Policies and procedures for compliance
Work visas not requiring sponsorship
Key tips for managing your immigration process
Home Office audit tips
Document checking techniques and proof of right to work

The workshop timings are 9:30 to 15:30. The content is usually completed by 15:30 and the day finishes with a Q&A session.
This course is currently being held online.
The cost is £250 plus VAT for each delegate, which includes comprehensive reference material sent to you in advance of the workshop.
