Welcome to the TWO Academy 

We have created online courses to help you to navigate the immigration landscape with confidence, from the comfort of your own desk (or sofa!).  
Our portfolios target each key training area we support; Preventing Illegal Working, Employer Sponsorship Compliance and Student Sponsorship Compliance.

How Does It Work? 

Each participant receives a unique user ID and password, along with a link to the TWO Academy.  
Access to their designated course is available for one year.  
 
Each course has a downloadable workbook to complete (online or by hand) to embed learning.  
Workbooks include tips, links and reference material for future use. 
 
Each course includes a short test designed to check understanding. Incorrect answers are explained and correct answer provided. 
Participants receive a completion certificate via email. 
 

April 2024 Rule Changes  

This module is for employers - and individuals - who wish to understand the detail of the changes to the Immigration Rules in Spring 2024. We will cover all the changes including: 
 
Changes to Appendix Skilled Occupations 
Outlining salary thresholds for Skilled Worker, for new applicants to the route and for those who already have a Skilled Worker visa  
Explaining the Immigration Salary List and how this differs to the Shortage Occupation List 
Clarifying which individuals will be able to apply under tranistional arrangements 
Health and Care visas and updated salary thresholds 
Other changes including supplementary work for Skilled Workers, Global Business Mobility visa salaries, and family visas. 
 
This module is available from 18 April 2024 as a stand alone course, or it can be included within our Employer Sponsorship Portfolio. 
 
 
 

Preventing Illegal Working Portfolio 

This portfolio covers the essential requirements for employers checking right to work of all individuals, in order to be compliant with UKVI . It is therefore relevant to all employers, and will help you avoid a nasty compliance fine. We demystify the various visa categories, so you know who is able to work for you, and what evidence they need to provide in order for you to be compliant with your legal duty of preventing illegal working.

Changes to the Immigration Rules April 2022 
This update course can be delivered as a stand alone course for those wishing to update their working knowledge of checking right to work and visa categories; it covers all changes to the immigration rules. It can also be included within the portfolio, should anyone wish to do any combination of the four available courses.  
 
 

Employer Sponsorship Portfolio 

This portfolio is for those sponsoring employees under the Skilled Worker route. We cover all aspects of sponsorship to ensure full understanding of the responsibilities of being a sponsor, and the key areas of compliance. The portfolio includes information for both new sponsors, as well as those who were familiar with the Tier 2 system but wish to understand more about the Skilled Worker route.

Update Course: 
Changes to the Immigration Rules April 2024 
This update course can be purchased as part of the Employer Sponsorship Portfolio, and assigned to anyone within your organisation wishing to update their knowledge of Skilled Worker eligibility and alternatives to sponosrship. It covers all changes to the immigration rules in Spring 2024.  
 

Student Sponsorship Portfolio 

This portfolio covers sponsorship compliance for the new student visa (what was previously called Tier 4). It is suitable for anyone working within education who is involved in student recruitment and admission work. We will cover all aspects of student visa compliance, and putting student immigration policy into practice.
