The Student Visa application process is points based, and requires various supporting documents as well as confirmation of acceptance for studies at a UK school, college, or university. The education institution in question must be on the UK's list of registered Student Sponsors.

Current News

EU, EEA & Swiss nationals can currently travel to the UK with a valid passport or a national identity card. From 1 October 2021, an ID card will no longer be accepted for travel to the UK, unless exceptions apply.
In 2019, around one third of all EEA & Swiss air passengers used an ID card to book a flight. Therefore, this information needs to be spread to reduce the risk of EEA nationals not having the required documentation.
